Inglot Review pt 2

(Unfortunately photos in this post were lost due to The Great Deletion of 2014. Some efforts to re-do photos will be made but not all posts will be redone.)

Here is the palette I created along with swatches.

All shadows are swatched over NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. The shadows don't have names but are numbered.

I am super excited about the matte shadows. They didn't go on chalky at all. 341 is just a lovely light pink and 344 will look great for crease work.

I'm looking forward to using 407 come spring/summer. It's a peachy orange with a bit of a sheen to it. Not quite duo-chrome but you do get more pink or more orange when you tilt the color around.

413 is such a fun color! It reminds me of beaches and tropical waters. 47 is a deeper blue but it still has a bit of light blue reflects in it. It swatched more grey in the store but I'm excited to try a smokey look with this.

Fingers full of eyeshadow (first world problem...)
Aside from the two matte colors (341, 344), all the rest are in Inglot's pearl finish. They all have a lovely sheen to them when swatched. While I was deciding on my colors, I stayed away from their super glittery ones just because I know I'll never wear them. But they have a great selection of those as well. My friend bought a black with some glitters in. Those colors would look great on nights out with girlfriends.

Some people have found it really difficult to take the shadows out of the palettes. The magnets on these are quite strong which I think contribute to the weight of the palettes. But if you slide one of the lid's magnets along the edge of your shadow, they snap out! However, this only seems to work for my non-matte shadows.

I absolutely love these shadows! They are so pigmented and you get so much product for $6. They glide on quite smoothly and are long lasting on the lid. There were so many good colors to choose from but I think I managed to get a good assortment for my travel palette. There are so many combinations I can make with the colors that I bought but I was still so tempted to buy many of the colors. and it took me the longest time to decide on 10. Thanks to Tian for sticking it out in the store with me lol. I did skip a highlight shade though since I figured I could use my press powder for that.

Have you tried Inglot?
